Centrifugal Casting Method

Mould Preparation

Steel mould preheated and coated with refractory wash to control cooling rate and surface quality.

Steel Backing Pour

Molten steel is poured into the rotating mould — centrifugal force eliminates porosity and ensures dense, uniform structure.

Lining Application

Bronze or white metal lining is cast onto the steel shell while still rotating — ensuring full metallurgical bond.

Machining & Inspection

CNC turning and boring to final dimensions. Full dimensional and hardness inspection before despatch.

Development & Tooling

Tool design is done in-house using Unigraphics CAD software. Delcam is used to generate CNC code directly from 3D data, ensuring precision tooling with minimal lead times.

Casting simulation software evaluates filling and solidification prior to first production, ensuring defect-free castings from the very first pour.

Our Pattern Shop ensures all tooling is maintained and serviced throughout the life of the tool — guaranteeing consistent quality across repeat orders.
